Day at the Farm is a free community event that shares the importance of local agriculture within our community. Taking place on a real farm, Day at the Farm give people the opportunity to learn about what crops are grown locally. Each year, over 30 agriculturally-related interest and commodity groups attend the event to share their knowledge.

Draft horse ploughing
Live music courtesy of the Agora String Band

The Chilli Tank, featuring fine chillis made with local produce

- Get To Know SOME OF OUR WILDLIFE:
- Northern Shrike Known as the "Butcher Bird," the Shrike impales prey on thorns to attract mates and mark its territory.
- Lesser Snow Goose Snow Geese congregate on farm fields by the tens of thousands searching for potatoes, grain, and grass.
- Bumblebee These insects benefit farmers by pollinating crops. They find refuges in Grassland Set-asides and Hedgerows.
